Description
Any changes you would make to this trade? Do you agree/disagree that Zeeker would fit in Dallas and Faksa would slot into Zeeker's role on Long Island?
Trades
NYI
  1. Faksa, Radek
  2. 2020 6th round pick (DAL)
Additional Details:
Dallas shakes up their team while getting a similar defensive forward in Zeeker who can score more goals with the right coach.
DAL
  1. Cizikas, Casey
  2. 2021 2nd round pick (NYI)
Additional Details:
Zeekr and Faksa play similar styles. To make up for the age difference and salary increase, we give them a 2nd pick in 2021 as well as a 20 goal scorer. Faksa brings some more youth to the team and although I do love Zeeker, I think Faksa would be a better option and would flourish under Trotz.

I’m not saying it’s a bad trade. I would do it, why change things up when you are on a ten game win streak?

As a DAL fan I love Faksa, so I wouldn't really want to move him at all, but the offer itself isn't that bad. If possible, I'd like to have NYI add a bit. Like Ho-Sang for example.

Considering he isn't even reporting to Bridgeport (trying to force Lou's hand), that would be a no-brainer for us.

I agree. Zeeker is a fan favorite and he's been playing good in our zone and in their zone so far. But say we start losing again. Say Zeeker stops producing for a few games. Selling high and getting a younger forward who plays the same type of game is a no-brainer, right?

Yea just wouldn’t rush into anything as both of our teams have done it before and it all crashes on both of us
