Plus we won't even be a buyer this year unless we win the draft lottery, and even then it's still a maybe. Yzerman has made it clear that he wants to do this rebuild the right way, and that means building through the draft, not spend 20mil+ on free agents, even if they are good. If we do win the lottery, I could see maybe the Krug signing if he wants to come home, but we are more than likely going to have to overpay for him because he is a big part of what Boston does, and they will offer him everything they can to get him to stay. Also, this is without making basically any deadline moves, which is also not realistic. This is a really deep draft this year, so expect moves to be made to acquire picks, and a lot of them. The roster already looks pretty different only a month into the season, imagine what it will look like after the deadline.
