What the team looks like now.

I think Kaskisuo deserves a shot, BUT I think his first NHL start should be in a game where the team isn't tired and against someone where they have a "better" shot at winning. Give the kid the opportunity to succeed in his first NHL start. Build his confidence before you play him against Boston the the second half of a back-to-back.

I think the Ceci-Rielly pairing has hit the end of its' days.

I wonder if there are any REALISTIC backup/4RD options out there or if all of us who propose leafs trades for those things are just tilting at windmills.

I really hope Babs bends and move Ceci down the lineup. Holl has been much better, and Dermott looks really good as well. Ceci is the weak link and needs to be given less responsibility.
