Description
Keeping Snipakovsky on the top line because as long as he's on a line with a strong playmaker, he can fire them off like crazy. Leaves Landy/Kadri/Donskoi a physically challenging 2nd line for good ol' playoff hockey.

TRADE:
Jost is looking more like a winger than a centre at this point. He is still slowly developing into a middle 6 and potentially a top 6 forward.
Sabres could use some RFA contracts to balance out all those UFA contracts that are ending soon. They'll probably be selling Vesey, Sheary, Larsson, etc at the TDL
Avs get another puck-moving, PP useful Dman who is paired with someone defensively responsible and may even improve in that area with the Avs.

I disagree on Jost...he plays his best hockey at C.

and noooooo on Risto, hes is not the style of Dman you want to add going into the playoffs, esepcially with that contract

Fair enough, would you prefer Jost over Compher at centre? Also, Risto has only been in one kind of system hasn't he?

I would prefer Jost to at C. Compher is adaptable enough he can be a W and still be effective. Risto has played for 3-4 different coaches now and hes still the same defensive liability. His value is in being a point producer who needs top 5v5 and PP time to do that. hes not get that on the Avs wiht Makar and Girard around

Dont see the fit. Avs could use another D man for the playoffs to eat more PK minutes away from EJ to keep him healthy. I like the idea of a Hamonic rental if the flames start sellig

Hamonic would be a nice rental, and doesn't lock in anyone next season so hopefully timmins can make the jump.

Timmins is playing decent in the AHL, or I believe he is bc starting to notice he is producing more offense now. I believe Timmins makes the jump soon. hamonic, or a rental like him, really is just insurance on EJ bc thats 2 playoffs in a row he hasnt been healthy or paying hurt for them.
