haha yea we are coming for Sergachev. I wouldn't do this deal, though. I don't think it really even helps you guys out that much. You trade $3.2M Johnson for $3M Filppula, who is a downgrade. Then you trade one RFA for another RFA who are pretty similar and will probably end up getting around the same cap hit. It's delayed a year, sure, but at the end of the day you're in the same boat. I would switch out Hronek for Cholowski and have no problem. You could get him long term for a lot less, and he still has 2 years left on his ELC. You guys get a young LD playing his first full year in the league who has top4 potential but needs time to develop on the bottom pair. In Tampa that's exactly the role he would play.
