Description
I think it's time for Suzuki to take the spot he deserves. He showed high hockey IQ and insane passing abilities since the beginning and those are center qualities, wich is his natural position. Domi is more of a shooter and he tends to keep the puck a little too long, his skills set fit the wing wich is also is natural position. Zuke is more reliable on defense and the swap would help Domi's game since he would have less defensive responsabilites.

If Kovalchuk is a bust (90% chance), we move up Armia and call Poehling from Laval.

As for Weal and Byron and Petry, its time to move on and give more responsabilities to young players. Trade them for cap space so we can sign Domi, Tatar, Danault, Gallagher, KK, Armia, Lehkonen, Mete and Poehling in the next 2 years.

Like I said, I wasnt sure about the value of this trade, I also retained 1M so he would cost 2.4.. wich is not that much. I also mentionned that if he can find his game again he's worth every dollar of it, he had a bad start this season and got injured but he can still use his speed and grit to create chance. He is also very reliable defensively and he a threat on the PK. I can understand why people dont want him right now tho, but a change of air could benefit him! What about Byron and a 2nd for a 3rd?

Just so you know, you say 2.5 million is not much, but more than half the teams in the league couldnt take on that contract! 2.5 is 2 4th line players and Byron is a 2 gola pace this year and that is worse than a 4th line player. He is small and with small guys there career is usually short lived and ends fast, as is the case. Habs need to buy that guy out. Oilers already have Chaisson who scored 20 goals last year and is doing nothing this year,, Good luck
