As a rangers fan I’d rather have a better prospect, especially with a second round pick. Egor Afanasyev/tolvanen and a 2nd would probably be more in line imho.

I mean if you look at it by draft pick, the current deal is a 1st + 2nd + 2nd/3rd and yours would be a 1st/2nd + 2nd. So the value is definitely there in the first trade. I would personally not give up any of these three prospects for Kreider though. Trenin is playing great right now up with the big club, so I would not be looking to trade him anytime soon. Most I would do for Kreider is something like Pitlick + 1st, but I don't think the Preds should be trading their 1st this year anyway.
