The values (trade picks) the Blackhawks received are over valued. No club will being offering the 2nd for a 35 year old, UFA goaltender. Gustafsson has not played consistently to demand a 2nd. I will shock if a team offers this at the trading deadline. It makes no sense for Dallas offer up their 1st (in this deep draft) to dump salary. They will used their draft in June, and then dump salary in October.
The trade with Montreal seems reasonable. If the Leafs can wasted their 1st moving Marleau to Carolina, then I suppose they could waste a 2nd & 3rd to move Ceci. Highly unlikely though.
