Yeah, I know this is a deep reach for the sake of recent news and nostalgia..

What do you guys think Keslers value is at this point? I feel like this might be overpaying.

I mean theres probly less than a 25% chance he plays ever again. Are the Ducks ok with forking out 14M in salary the next two years to a player who might not play? Or could you see them making the buisness decision to save 8.5M cash and add a couple prospects.

Canucks win the Trade if Kes comes back and plays better than Louie or if they deem he cant play ever again. As they can use that cap space elsewhere and put him on LTIR.

Anahiem wins Cause they save 8.5M in cash during a rebuild and add two more young pieces for the future while getting a roster player.

Why would Anaheim do this? Kesler is on LTIR, his cap hit doesnt count against the cap.

Anaheim says no, Tanev is not signing a 1 year deal, and Tryamkin won't come back for below $2M.

Tryamkin doesnt make that now playing in the K. Why would he get paid more in the NHL lol.
