Teams want him and would pay a high price for a playoff run
Keeping saad also won’t be good for us
We have to sign lehner, kubalik, and Strome

A 1st would be nice, but Shaw is likely on LTIR a lot longer. Use that cap space and Toffolis 4 million and they are fine. Strome will likely command between 5 and 6 million I'd have to guess. Kubalik should get a 1 year deal around 3 mil to prove himself again kind of like Karlsson with Vegas

I feel like Saad by himself could get a 1st plus from a contender at the deadline. He isn't a rental so he'd have that extra year of production. Probably a similar return to Kevin Hayes otherwise i wouldnt move him

100% correct. Selling Saad for only a 1st would be an asinine move
