Description

One of Gardiner/Skjei needs to be traded this offseason - right now I’ll give the benefit of the doubt to Skjei, but I feel like my opinion on that may change. Also one of the goalies need to go - I say Reimer. The team needs a 3C and 3/4 wing and they’re set imo. Not sure any current forward prospect besides Bokk will be ready/worthy of a roster spot. We’ll see how it shakes out though. With the assets we have we could easily land anther top 6 Wing though and really shake things up. im already really looking forward to next year.

it's not EA Sport NHL Staal is a good 3C

The Canes don't "need" to trade anybody. Skjei by himself has plenty of value. Gardiner, if he keeps up his February play through the rest of the season, will have value, too. Skjei also gives a huge amount of insurance in case Hamilton and the Canes can't agree to an extension and a Faulk-style sign-and-trade is forced.
