Pretty weak return for MTL honestly -- with those players involved, you'd have to at least bump the 2nd to a 1st. Zadorov is an OK defenseman (not great), but he is not the top 2 LHD that MTL needs (he's pretty much a 5thD, borderline 4), and it's a little disingenuous to suggest that Kamenev, who will be 24 years old next year, is anywhere near an A-prospect level player. He's definitely more of a B-/C prospect that has struggled to make an impact in the NHL in his short career so far with bad underlying numbers despite favorable zone starts, etc. - and he only has 3 goals in 61 games played. I don't think MTL would be jumping at the chance to trade a ~60 point Max Domi for a bottom 4 D, a maybe-NHLer, and a late 2nd round pick not even in the upcoming draft (which is in MTL). There is a possibility they trade Domi, but this is not the kind of splash that would get their fans or media on board when all eyes are on MTL in June.

edit: you may be referencing the 2nd round pick as becoming an A/B prospect, but that is still a stretch too. A 2nd round pick is just a 2nd round pick -- you have no idea what that could become. Bust or NHLer.
