Description
If everyone recovers from their injuries, then we should be going "all-in." I think we can still be a contender after next year, but if there is ever a "best" opportunity to win, then this is the time. I'm not really sure if we're going to be able to fit in any trade deadline move, but if we're getting Lindblom and Patrick back, then that could be equivalent to a trade deadline move. If Lindblom and Patrick are back to being who they should be, then we should stay pat at the deadline. I really don't want to change up our core because of how good our chemistry is. Gostisbehere could be on the move if Chuck Fletcher is desperate. Although, I don't think he will, as he likes our roster as much as I do. We also have several replacements in Lehigh Valley for when injuries arise. This is probably as good a roster as we can get.

Some of the signings may be optimistic, but the cap is set at its minimum from what its expected range is. I think there is a good chance that Lindblom and Patrick get a very small bridge deal since there seasons were very short. By signing them both to a 1 year deal at $925k, it gives them a chance to prove themselves even more and it gives the Flyers a break by having them sacrifice money for the cap room to keep our core. I think it will be interesting to see what Justin Braun gets next season and I hope that Chuck Fletcher resigns him. He's been excellent for us, and his dream will be to win a cup. I'd like to see Cam York and Wyatt Wylie get signed to develop in the AHL and move into the NHL if we're really getting hurt with injuries. We'll take Justin Barron in the draft if he's still available because we could really use a right-handed defenseman prospect. If he's not available, then fine. Just get a right-handed defenseman. I signed him here, but I don't mind if he still needs development in juniors. I think that there are a couple players on here willing to take pay cuts because of how connected everybody is and how some veterans are hunting for their Stanley Cup rings.

It's going to be tough to manage the forwards with the log-jam that we have. There are going to be some guys on the lower lines that deserve more ice time because of other guys just playing great, but that's just the way it's going to have to be. As for our defense-core, I think that these should be our "go-to" pairings, for the start of the season at least. It's arguable if Hagg can be an 82-game defenseman, but in my opinion, I think he's proven to be a full-time, bottom-pairing guy. He's had great chemistry with Braun. Overall, I'd like to hear other opinions and if there are other options or ideas out there.

Pretty good team. I think you can shave off a few 100k from Pitlick's, Hagg's, and Grant's deal, and trade Raffl so we can get a better backup but this is good overall.

Probably not any roster players. I'd like some C+ forward prospects or any right handed defenseman prospect than has NHL potential. If that's too much then I'd be alright with two 2nd round picks.

They might be. I've watched them play in the NHL and they definitely have some work to do. I'd just let them develop in the AHL until we get injuries.
