Description
An assertion that Alex Pietrangelo is going to tell the team to screw off by most people isn't always the case. I know Alex Pietrangelo loves being captain, loves the city in general, and the biggest thing is Alex's wife has openly stated that she wants to stay in St.Louis because her family is here. So Alex while I think he gets quite a good chunk it's going to be less than 9 Million, and quite frankly there aren't very many teams who are willing to take him for that much with the risk factor of what happened to EK65 and DD8.

Dunn is a very good player the probability is what i'm assuming 5.5M for 5 Years the same contract Parayko got when he was a Restricted Free Agent. Dunn has turned into a really well performing player who could stick around.

Now how do we exercise the money issue. I think the Cap is going to be pushed back, but for now I'm going to be putting it at 83 Million Cap Space because that was the last known cap space we were going to have.

St.Louis has quite a few RFAs, and only 1 UFA that really needs to be signed. Mitch Reinke is on the way up to the NHL level if Bortuzzo is out the door. For certain teams like Toronto he would work perfectly as a bottom pairing playing defense, We also have the opening of Mikkola who did very well his first few games this year, we sent him back down because he was not quite ready.

Trades
1.
STL
  1. 2021 4th round pick (TOR)
Additional Details:
This deal works out for a team like Toronto because they get a good defensive guy on a cheap contract down the depth. He isn't used for Offense at all because he is terrible offense, but Toronto needs defense and defense is what we can give.
TOR
  1. Bortuzzo, Robert
Additional Details:
With players such as Walman, Mikkola, and Reinke coming up the defenseman lineup it's time for a change in the lineup Bortuzzo isn't an ideal player to have on the lineup anymore with already 3 RHD, he would be a scratch most of next year likely, so this is why this seems like a good deal. Now from Toronto's perspective not too sure on how it works with the draft pick, it might be a little higher in the bargain, but I would settle for a 4th-5th round pick, which is not too crazy for a 2021 Draft.
2.
STL
  1. 2020 2nd round pick (BUF)
Additional Details:
Buffalo can really use this as in the incoming player that can really put the team in a contention spot until Luukonen comes around, now that being said I do understand it is a risk, but with Hutton not doing so well maybe having him as a back up 1A, 1B that St.Louis had with the 2 and you could be golden by the end of it, and maybe you make it far into a playoff run.
BUF
  1. Allen, Jake ($1,350,000 retained)
Additional Details:
Jake Allen had a good performance this year with a .927 Sv Pct, and a 2.15 GAA. Jake Allen had a very good performance. Something Buffalo could use on the back line until Luukonen comes around. I think a retention is a good deal, and it picks the draft pick from a 3rd to a 2nd in my opinion retaining, and that's the only thing that seems fair.
3.
STL
  1. 2021 3rd round pick (NYI)
Additional Details:
I think 3rd is very fair for a player of his caliber especially on 1 year remaining, it's very fair in my opinion.
NYI
  1. Bozak, Tyler
Additional Details:
There isn't a any real good choice I could think of that could use Bozak, and in my opinion he's got 1 year left and it's a 10-team no trade clause. So really any deal can be made for Bozak. I think he would fit well in a 3C role, at least and maybe even a 2C role.

Leafs don't need Burtuzzo. Just sign Dunn to a bridge deal and you'll be fine
Isles are gonna need a lot of cap space to sign Barzal and Pudlock

Don't think the Sabres are going to try the Blues backup goalie route again, but they could use Bozak since their 2C is kind of a question mark.

I feel like the difference is Allen had some pretty good stats this year, I think if Buffalo got some insurance for it, I think Buffalo would take on him as a chance because it is only 1 year.
