My previous attempt had a major flaw with those Olofsson and Reinhart contracts. In this version, Reinhart gets a better long-term deal, while Olofsson is bridged.

I could see that neither BUF fans nor TOR fans like that Ristolainen trade, but on paper, it seems like it could fit to me. TOR fans, is Barrie proof that this style of defenseman is not who you need alongside Rielly? Or was Barrie just an aberration?

Not a leafs fan but I can tell you right now this trade neither helps the leafs financially (since they need to cut cap) or helps with their needs. The g really dont need a Risto/Barrie/DeAngelo type defenseman. They are one of the highest scoring teams in the league while also being one the leading goals against teams.
