VAN decline, they are not trading away Virtanen. He has finally become a useful player for the Canucks after years of patiently developing him, and also there not going to trade him to a division rival.

2 late 3rd and a meh prospect isn’t getting you Anderson. Also I’d have to guess that Anderson isn’t signing for less then he made the last 2 years. If he does, it’s one year and he’s walks to free agency.

Columbus's asking price is a 2nd and because he’s an RFA, and we don’t have to force a trade until the deadline. There really no reason to trade him at his lowest value.

What would it take to get him?

I don't think VAN even wants to move him, they like the way he is trending and he can play anywhere in the lineup. He is finally emerging to be a top 6 PWF winger and also he is a local boy.

A 1st. He's a Vancouver native drafted at 6th overall and is starting to look good.

Unless he plays like he did this season. Then he'll be worth nothing.
