You could probably get Bennet and a 3rd for Kerfoot from Calgary, you open to that?

I dont see Carolina accepting that (They may do Abramov + Liligren + Kapenan and a 1st) but even thats a stretch. Pesce is a solid 2-way defenseman and his contract is pretty good so Carolina will expect an overpay for him.
I dont see Toronto and Boston trading, last time they did it did not go well for us.
Kerfoot maybe could get a 2nd but I see 2 3rds coming back
Zacha is good, but Dubas will probs go after a UFA like Brassard, he can be a placeholder until SDA, Abramov, or Abruzze is ready

Rather have regular NHL Dman, Dermot, the 1st rounder and those other assets plus 2.5m in cap than trade for Pesce. Not that I want him in a Leaf jersey, Thornton isn't coming to Toronto for 700,000
