Not sure I am a big believer in Weegar. Kid looks like a #4, but seems injury prone. We need less injury prone players, not more. I think with us not winning the draft, moving Rakell makes a lot less sense than it did before, especially considering we may get lucky and draft Drysdale. Personally, I would only really consider moving Rakell for help at RD. This isn't to say that we shouldn't consider moving him later in the year. If Comtois breaks out, Rakell becomes expendable and he'd probably bring in a nice haul at the TDL.

Mrazek is a solid add. I wouldn't be disappointed in that deal. He's fun to watch and we have the money.

I get goalies don’t have a ton of trade value but Mrazek is a 3rd or 4th round pick. Not swapping 50 spaces in the 6-7 rounds.

til Weegar was the best d man on FLA for most of the year (playing a lot of top pair on his offside with Ekblad) and I wouldn't say get lucky and draft Drysdale, even if he's available, there's gonna be a better player available, even if nobody reaches for a Perfetti or smth, there will still be Lundell available at least, and if someone does reach for Perfetti, one of Raymond Rossi or Stutzle will be available, and we'd be idiots to take Drysdale over any of them

Fair enough, but Weegar's injury-prone nature makes him a no go for me. Didn't we kind of just move Kase for the same reason?

In terms of the draft, I completely agree. Personally, I am not that high on Drysdale. He seems like another Fowler based on what I've read, maybe with high scoring potential. In any event, we need a Hedman. I think he's being pushed up the draft due to the lack of good D-men this year, same as when Haydyn Fleury was drafted in 2014 (CAR could have drafted W. Nylander or Ehlers). My guess would be we get Raymond. Seems like a perfect fit for us with all the other Swedes on roster and is another kid playing in the SHL like Lundestrom. I just hope we don't get Perfetti. IMO, his compete level is too low for him to be an impact player in the NHL and, whilst impressive on the puck, his defensive game is extremely weak. His skating is also very average.
