Description
TVR signing is probably a stretch. We'll see, they have to sign someone to play RD. They will not be breaking the bank to do it. They simply don't have the cap space to.

So given they play Hallander at center. You are looking at $2,546,492 in free cap space for a RW.

Enter Poulin as option 1. Because he's affordable and they have to do something.
Option 2. Simon....who frankly is not a top 6 winger and probably should go back to the AHL.

Option 3...FA...nope. they can't afford anyone capable of filling a top 6 role for 2.5 million. Even if they tried for a guy like Fast, he's not signing for 2.5 million even on a 1 year deal.

So here is my guess at next years roster..... unless they get the 1OA. Which I doubt happens considering it doesn't sound like MTL wants to play.

    yeah no team is doing that.
    This is reality. Unless they make some drastic moves.....this is what they are probably looking at.
    I'm cool with it. I'd rather they play the young kids than bring in some vet who probably isn't all that good anyway.
