Description

Ok so I'm like 99% sure this would never happen but thought it would be fun, so I want to simulate that every team gets a compliance buyout after the end of the 19-20 season therefore Edmonton can get rid of James Neal, since I can't actually do that I'll just trade him to Ottawa for a 2022 7th round pick. Other than that enjoy this. (Also go easy on me ik this would never happen)

Nobody is taking on that Neal contract without a sweetener added to the deal either a 1st or very good prospect. Noway Ottawa does that.

You didn't read the bio about the team 'So I want to simulate that every team gets a compliance buyout after the end of the 19-20 season therefore Edmonton can get rid of James Neal, since I can't actually do that I'll just trade him to Ottawa for a 2022 7th round pick.' If you're aware a compliance buyout means each team can buyout one player with no cause, so they're just gone from the team for good no ties.

Sabres would pass if Ulmark was included, but I can definitely see them using Koskinen and Ulmark as a tandem for a couple of years until UPL or Portillo are ready to step in
