Description

Dallas was one of the lower-scoring teams in the league so my thought is that adding JVR would add some punch, shedding Cogliano would make the cap hit manageable, and the picks aren't that substantial.

For the Flyers, it gives the team some breathing room under the cap and eliminates the logjam at LW. The bottom 4 forwards have some wiggle room - do we sign Grant and/or Pitlick, bury or play Cogs, and what happens at 3RW? Same for the number 6 D - Braun was fine for us this year, but if there is an inexpensive upgrade, it may be worth considering.

I think they would take this, the only issue I have is how they'll pay Hintz and Heiskanen with Pavelski and now JVR on board... it'll look a lot like the Leafs from this past year
