After Mareks comments on 31 thoughts, the Sabres would probably take this. Except they should try to get their own 3rd back rather than the rangers.

I would absolutely love this trade for buffalo. We want Monty gone, and this gives us a 2C, a prospect(kinda) and a D.

Is Deangelo injury-prone? If his health is not a concern, I think Mtl considers it. He could play with Romanov on the 3rd pair + on the Power play...
