I have been seeing Lindholm in a lot of trade threads. For those who are wondering, he is the last player the flames would trade (aka not otb). Gaudreau and Monahan are getting shopped before him. He is our best player, and has the best contract on our team. If you dying that hard to get him here is the price (sorry but the price isn't fair)

Way too much to give up for Buff. This would create a massive hole in the right side of our D for years to come and take away the potential for a cheap scoring winger we could land in the draft. To be honest I dont see CGYand Buff aligning on this trade.

Lindholm is nice and all, but not at that price. He’s not even worth the 2020 1st by himself.

Sorry, are you saying that Lindholm is a better player than Matthew Tkachuk? That isn't even close to true.

That said, you're 100% correct that CGY will not be trading Lindholm anytime soon. He remains a key part of the core going forward.
