Description

Pittsburgh Trade: A swap of RFAs. Gives Pittsburgh a Top 4 D-man and gives Buffalo a middle 6 forward. Buffalo may have to add something else minor.

Vancouver Trade: Clears cap for Vancouver in a flat cap world to sign Markstrom, Tanev, etc. They no longer have to pay Virtanen and get out of Beagle's contract. Provides the Sabres a middle 6 winger and a 4th liner with championship pedigree.

Florida Trade: To any team for any price. Just get Hutton out of here.

Free Agency: Couldn't decide between Soucy and Merrill, so I picked up both. Soucy could get more, not sure on price.

If the Penguins dont trade Letang, I do not see the need for Montour. We have Letang and Marino as our two top 4 guys, so no need for another.

I don't know what kind of $ he wants, but getting another solid RD is not like getting another $5M goalie. Especially with the Penguins injury history.
