Description

Im aware this is through the cap but just wondering what the cost for Zadorov is? I feel he would be a great addition to the Rangers going forward as he plays a defensive game, adds grit to the linup, can play the left side and his salary wont be too crazy and with Staal/Smith coming off the books next year it makes sense. Also gives an NHL ready player so K'andre, Robertson, Lundkvist, Jones(and to some extent Hajek/Rykov) dont get rushed into the NHL.

I have the team signing Deangelo here over Strome. Its a short term deal but this allows ADA to really show he has matured and this year wasnt a fluke. I think Strome may have more value on the market as a 2nd/3rd line center and can fill in on the wing. Also...to my point above, this gives the younger D to establish themselves and if ADA has a great 2 years then great and if not they can shop him.
Lastly, Jesper Fast. I think he is immensely valuable to this team as an older player and good locker room guy. Shows how to play the right way.
