Yes, I am fully aware that Toews has a NMC and that he's the captain of CHI.

Saad is likely a one-year rental because CGY would not protect him in the SEA expansion, and I think he'd get taken by SEA, so his value is low.

CGY fans: How much does CHI have to add to this deal (picks and/or prospects)?

CHI fans: Does getting 2/3rds of the most valuable players in the deal (and getting younger) make sense for CHI?

I could see this roster out-scoring CGY's current roster during the regular season. And then my take is that this roster is a much stronger playoff team than the current roster.

Alternatively, if Toews is untouchable, then CGY could look at a deal for Gaudreau:

- RD Murphy
- CHI 1st (2020: #15 overall)
