Description

Trade: So out of all our top six wingers I feel I would lose Connor before Laine (higher scoring potential and can play a physical game) or Ehlers (possession powerhouse and still great at scoring) and New Jerseys looks like a great up and coming team with there center depth so give them a top scoring winger and they also have defense coming to replace Severson (including Niku).

Signings: Haula to test him out as a 2nd line center with some young wingers
Dillon adds some experience and physicality to our back end
Rieder brought in as depth
Most other re-signings are the norm

Other: Giving Vesalainen a chance to improve his game with some veterans so he may at least be a solid bottom six player
Also we have some extra cap left over plus with Perreault and Lowry contracts expiring the Jets should have enough to resign Laine (around 9 million), Copp (around 3 million unless he has a really strong season then maybe 4 million) and Pionk (either 4.5 million or trade him)
(Gustaffson replaces Lowry and other young player or free agent veteran replaces Perreault)
Also really doubt Little plays again

Don't see WPG trading any of Connor/Laine/Ehlers. Would like to see a trade involving Severson for Niku and Roslovic.

Not a fan of the DeMelo signing for the bottom pair.

This is not good, NJD would have to give their 7th pick for this to be close lol. Why not just move Connor to NYI for Pulock? He’s a better dman and that pick likely doesn’t help us for 2 years.
