That's fair but he's still 3rd on the LW depth chart behind Kubs and Cat. He showed last season (2018-19) that he can be effective on that line and having him there helps balance out the top 9.

Both Suter and Nylander are ahead of him on the LW chart, and I'm not even sure Suter plays in the NHL. Caggulia should be a 4th line guy.
