Description

Most of you will bash and say the no goalies are worth a 1st, but if you watched Kuemper the last two and a half seasons you'd see why. For a top goalie you have to pay a little.

Reimer is a useable goalie but I still see him as a semi cap dump, hence the value I paid to get him moved.
Mrazek is a good back up, so getting what was dumped for Reimer helps.

I traded both goalies to give a small amount of cap flex, with the resigns of Svech, Hamilton and 4/6 of the bottom 6.

Why is Carolina paying to get rid of Reimer and then getting assets back for Mrazek? Reimer is better than Mrazek...

Reimer probably returns a 4th and Mrazek probably goes for a 7th.

nah, Marazek is younger and better. I think reimer had a better 2nd half but over the last couple years, Mrazek has held the reigns.

I agree, but you have to pay something good to get something good. I would say a pick in the low 20's would match the value most accurately. I would've done a slight add for kuemper but Carolina needs cap space too.
