Talent for talent... that Tampa offer is laughable to me.

Perhaps Liljegren could fetch Cernak's skate bag? The player himself... I don't think so.

But.... Maybe Tampa wins the cup this year and is satisfied with that achievement.

They do have to shed salary moving forward.

It just seems like a Leafs fleecing to me.

LIljegren isn't even a bottom pairing NHLer at this point.

Cernak is a top four defender who plays big minutes.

This seems like a joke trade to me.

I think these are pretty spot on. Liljigren for Cernak sounds bad, but Liljigren could fall right into the 3rd pair on an ELC. That's a need for Tampa.

Also, Minnesota takes it and runs.
