Description
Pretty Straightforward.

-Strome gets a very late first to fill Dallas' need for more offense
-Sergachev is a cap casualty in Tampa's attempt to hold onto Cirelli and inability to get anyone aside from Killorn with an NTC to waive. (would be open to negotiating comparable trade with Tampa to avoid using OS instead)
-Nashville and Rangers swap tall dudes after both put up kinda disappointing seasons relative to their cap hits and have been eclipsed in their role from the top spot in the lineup.
-Melnyk swallows Smith's tiny payroll boost (2 mil) so that he can net a superior young player in the process, and assure that he hits the cap floor.
-Lundqvist gets bought out and hopefully wins a cup next year somehow.

Tampa matches, cool trade with Nash if they end up trading a guy like Ellis though

I agree, Rangers would need to pay Sergachev more for Tampa not to match

If Nashville was looking to change up their defense and had an outlet for Ellis this would work for me. Run Duchene Turris Bonino Sissons down the center. Trade Ellis for some scoring winger help and maybe even Ekholm as well and the team could be completely remade.

Don't think that's totally necessary. The most cap space Tampa can possibly generate without someone aside from Killorn waiving their NTC is 12 mil (only reason Killorn is possible is because his NTC isn't full). Cirelli and Sergachev combined will cost more than 12 mil to keep. They lose 1 in pretty much every scenario. They just don't have the space and there's no incentive for guys like Gourde or Johnson or McDonagh to waive.

I think it works. Tomasino is probably in the picture within 2 seasons, kinda ensures against the possibility of Fabbro not really developing into the top 4 player Nashville anticipated, which (if this season is any indication) is a real possibility.
