They have so much cap space, if the owner is willing, take on bad contracts.

Why would we give up Manson and leave the right side of our defense looking like it does here -- worse than when you started -- in exchange for yet another LD who hasn't even signed his first ELC? Not to mention including the 36th overall pick.

Where's Maxime Comtois?

I think that you're short on the other two trades, too, which make little sense to me. All. of these moves are the kind that postpone our return to relevance for two or three years while those draft picks mature, if in fact they ever do. What you've got here is easily the worst defense in the NHL. Who's side are you on?

If the Ducks could draft Drysdale at 6 and Sanderson at 10 I think they’d be okay.

And I’m not saying I want this to happen or that these are the values. It might be time to sell some equity who’s value might not be there a year from now.

And where was Comtois this last year? Seams like he could’ve helped..
