Description

Cirelli is a huge upgrade as the new 2C.

Brodie is a very good two way top 4 Dman, and can play the left or right side which gives some flexibility. DeMelo resigned, as he is a solid defensive defenseman which is a team need.

Maroon brings experience, and physicality which comes up big in the playoffs.

There would definitely be some cap troubles next year, but this is a much better team than last year and could possibly be a cup contender.

Other notes, why are you bothering with Perrault?

Demelo likely wants 500-800k more
Brodie is an RD who shoots left and while I suspect you're close on the AAV hell want more term I suspect

I think you can upgrade on Brossoit at that price.

I'm never w fan of paying much above 1 mil for 4yh liners. Is it really worth it for maroon?

Cirelli will sign a team friendly bridge deal, so will Sergachev and Cernak, Palat will waive his NTC and will be dealt somewhere, Killorn will be traded as well, Johnson and Gourde stay in Tampa.

That D core isn't good enough to contend with, DeMelo isn't a top pairing dman, Brodie would be great but need someone better then DeMelo to pair with Morrissey and whoever that is needs to be a bit bigger as Morrissey is a but small.
