Description

I'm trying to be realistic here. I'd rather have Pietrangelo than Hoffman, of course (which would require another cap move), but I don't think he signs in western Canada unless it's Vancouver.

Bouchard and Broberg can rotate in for 9-game auditions, which is why I have 24 players on the roster.

There's room for a better backup, but I couldn't think of one outside of Laurent Brossoit. Does anybody think Alexandar Georgiev would take $2.25 million for one year and then cash in?

It would be nice to replace Matthew Benning with Jesse Puljujarvi.

Too many young players for a Holland team. Zero chance he bets on Rodrigue as a backup which means you lose at least 750K cap signing a backup Smith/Dell etc. NYR won't move Georgiev after buying out Hank to keep him.

Marody would be Haas.

Broberg will stay in Sweden like 95% sure but likely to save cap signing Lagesson for league min.

Benning likely won't be in EDM unless he takes paycut. Oilers could sign Veteran D (Connauton) for 1M for 3rd pairing coverage can't afford the extra 1M cap for Benning.

Johan Larsson seems like decent fit for defensive C in EDM

Hoffman contract could be a killer for resigning players during the covid cap years. Might be better to get two 2.5-3M wingers cause really that's all McD needs for a good line

Would be surprised to see Hoffman pull a $7M AAV contract unless it's a one year type deal.
