Does this seem like a realistic off season for CGY

Description
So with Lehner signing in Vegas for 5 m, just to get a full team, Vegas need to cut about 2.2m to get compliant and carry a full roster. That leaves very little cap room. Stastny make more sense but you never know. Calgary has been linked to Reeves in the past. They trade for both players to fill the bottom 6. Is the value fair for a cap dump from Vegas? I am guessing here.

Also, with Jarry signing at 3.5x3 and Lehner at 5x5 does this make Markstrom’s ask of 6x5 to high? I feel he is on par Lehner so really 5x5 for him seem in the right range but we all know GM’s do dumb things during FA.

I choose Ryan to SJ but he is a Calgary cap dump so really its anywhere. If SJ doesn’t resign Jumbo, they could use a bottom C. The Ryan trade IMO is a take what you can get. SJ fans do you need a bottom C man like Ryan?

I think Brodie will actually sign for more, however, I used Andersson’s as the comparable so that what he gets if he wants to stay, I could see Tre adding a 6th yr to a Brodie deal to get the AAV where I have it.

If vegas is going to cap dump, it's not going to be with a division rival and how is this team any better than last yr or the yr prior? Goaltending , maybe.

As an oilers fan I’m not a big fan of you getting Reaves. However this could make for some fantastic battle of Alberta games

To help out Calgary. I think this helps out the bottom 6 even with losing Ryan. for all the Tre is in on everyone, I don’t think other than in net much happens. I think if a big move happens (ie Johnny) its next year.

I think the help Calgary needs is a top 6 winger, I know you're all high on Mangiapane but you really need a better option, poaching Smith from Vegas would be a better move.
