Consider this a 3-way trade.
Problem is I think Minnesota is getting too much for Dumba, and Peg needs a little more for Laine.
I'm sure there's a way to balance that out.
Maybe the 1st is 2 2nds, and add a Kulak/Mete/Juulsen

Both Minnesota and Winnipeg decline, Even Bergevin stated that a player like Laine would be too expensive to acquire.

I don’t think that package gets you Laine, but the Dumba deal is a yes and add in a 2021 1st to the Jets and you’re close.
