He is top 4 quality, and with only 1 year left in term, there is little risk. That makes him worth about a conditional 3rd, higher if he plays 50+ gams and team makes playoffs.

Some team out there will give Hall 8M x 7. Almost guaranteed.

Would love to see Jackets sign him to that contract. Then turn around the very next day and trade him to Winnipeg for Laine.

The Canadian teams didn't make a whole lot of sense to me since they are all in win mode, as good as Murray can be his injuries are just far to risky.
