you aren't getting abramov, whose a pretty good prospect, for those 3 pieces bud. makes 0 sense for ottawa.

I’m not gonna say this trade makes sense but it certainly makes sense to add guys like Byron to a team full of only prospects. They have to have leadership around to learn from. Otherwise look at Toronto and Edmonton.
Pittsburgh new as soon as they landing Malkin and Crosby they loaded up on leaders and vets to put around them. Proper sheltering is more important than you think

Yeah but like I don’t want 3rd liners vets. Like we have Connor Brown and Tierney for that. We also got Dadonov now, Matt Murray, Gudbranson, Zaitsev, Chabot is slowly turning into a vet. Tkachuk feels like a natural vet too

oh I don't disgaree with that. Sens need solid leadership, and Byron has plenty of it. But if the sens would give abramov, that's a coup for the habs. they have experience in developing smaller players too
