Additions and Why?
Eric Haula - Getting a cheaper kerfoot who is better in the dot and a cheap deal
Chara - a player who just builds the leadership on the team but def will not play 82 games. He’ll split time with Sandin/Mikko
Martin - Another player who wont play 82 and just a depth guy to “stand up” for our stars. He was here before and loved it but his contract was too big but he loved it here and why not
Dreamt trade - Getting a young asset for a defence man that i dont belive fits our defensive fit anymore and getting picks along side. Also the 2nd round pick is conditional if he signs a contract over 3 years if not turns to another 4th in 2022.
Panthers trade - more of releasing cap and unwanted players on the team for a young raw prospect who has a high roof and low floor.

Lines are always movable. I just think he fits better with Nylander then the others the Thornton does. I dont think if he gets paid that he’ll get that much more bc of the season he has just come off with injuries, etc.
