JT LW
Kase has value bc he is 26. Its a middle 4th and late 7th round pick. Jets are in need of RW help and not paying much for him trade value and contract.
Malkin so low bc he is older and he is very injury prone
they accept the offers bc they are bridge deals. Sandin will take pay cut bc he is now injury prone and Lili proved he wasn't playoff ready and wasn't worth much more
Engvall will accept the offer bc I do not think his value is much more than 2 million.

Sharks have 3 starting goalies. Leafs would be interested in Adin Hill as well if they would rather move a younger goalie under contract. They would still have a net of Hill and kakko. They will be looking to move reimer this summer

ur actually gonna take Kris Russell over Dermott, plus Dermott is/can be an offensive dman which would b nice alongside a hopefully resigned Barrie

Also, last year Montour was a +13 on a bad sabers team last year too

Lines are always movable. I just think he fits better with Nylander then the others the Thornton does. I dont think if he gets paid that he’ll get that much more bc of the season he has just come off with injuries, etc.

D looks good, but RW sucks... where is Perry!</div></div>
I did not know about the Steel deal. But i did forget about Perry

Blockbuster For Manson and Depth Including Colorado for Playoff Push
They do this trade to make their team a lot better not so they suck. Look at it again. They get some physicality in Muzzin which they dont have to protect all of their star players in muzzin. They get a backup goalie because they dont have a starter cause Philip is on IR. And they get a 2nd/3rd line centre back b/c Kadri is also on IR

What To Do
Dillon is an old rental player which is not helping them for Timashov who is a young prospect. And could develop into a top 9 F plus a 4th round pick

For Real Now
i don't think that it is overpaying because, Kapi and Dermott are good young talent which will most likely be traded if a 'big deal' will occur. plus dermott is not as big a to the D-men that what most think. also i we would have to give up some sort of younger prospect(s) so the 2 I choose were 2 young prospects who the leafs may/will most likely not have the money to resign this coming offseason.

Leafs Playoff Run
Yes, you are both right BUT. The ducks know that their not going to get any of Leafs top prospects so the Leafs would give other (but still good) prospects to them which they need because their bad. The leafs also are giving up a lot. The oilers need help scoring besides their top 2 and Johnsson has more goals this year and playing much better then Kapanen. Also the Oilers are trying to get rid of Jesse and Larson is a UFA at end of season. While Johnsson still has 2 1/2 years left on his cheap contract which the oilers also need. (Cap Space)
