Kerfoot Thornton Simmonds or Robertson Thornton Simmonds should be your 3rd line. You don't put a guy like Thornton on the 4th line IMO especially with Spezza.

Kerfoot and Thorton are two of the most pass-first players in the league, it wouldn't be smart to play them together. Kerfoot at this point in time is much better than Thornton, so Thornton will have to be playing 4C, although he should get plenty of PP time on the second unit.
I’d play Thornton ahead of kerfoot even at this point in his career. Just because kerfoot can play c doesn’t mean that’s where he needs to play I personally think he’s far better suited for the wing.

Thank god we have Keefe behind the bench....
Thornton will be primarily 4c and pp2. He may get shuffled around a bit as lines usually do but there is no way in hell that Thornton is playing those types of minutes 4-5 nights a week.

Thornton should be 4c. Like I said above he may get shuffled around but I can’t see him doing 18min a night 5 times a week.
Kerfoot was kept because he is a good 3c. Productive fast skilled and defensively reliable.
