Granlund had his best years in the league while playing with Coyle and he also has chemistry with Smith from Nashville so it would be a great fit at a discount compared to what he might've demanded if he was a UFA the year before. With signing him there's a bit of a backlog of wingers so moving Bjork and Ritchie seems to be an easy move for a solid middle pairing d-man in Weegar. With a taxi squad scenario for next year they will be allowed to carry more players on the roster so it makes sense to sign someone like Sheary. He can fill in higher up the lineup if Marchand or Pasta miss any time but can also provide some speed, skill and energy to a 4th line. This team can truly go three lines deep with at least some sort of scoring threat which is what they have been lacking in years past. We saw what Coyle could do when he had Johansson no his wing and Granlund plays a very similar game. I would say that's one of the better 3rd lines you'll see in the league. They always have the option of trading for a d-man if need be during the year and can move players like Zboril (replaceable with Vaak) or Vladar (replaceable with Swayman who is likely even better regardless and Keyser). If the team runs into injuries or needs any sort of boost up front, inserting Studnicka is a potential fix.
