Description
McJesus and Draisaitl have made RNH expendable in EDM. Trouba would give them a more reliable too 4.

Fowler fills a temporary hole on the left side and Pavelec gets a chances to play again. Three months of Quick on LTIR should give LA the cap space.

Would the Jets want to help the KIngs, a real rival for the Conference playoffs with a goalie? Since the Ducks are looking for cap relief, maybe bit of retention would do the Ducks deal.

With a crappy goalie, yes! Doubt Pavelec sees nhl again. Who should retain what on Ducks deal? Not retaining on a 900k contract, but I guess they can retain on Thorburns 1.2m. Hard to kill 3 birds with one stone,

Nuge for Trouba, not bad. Probably more for Fowler. Better options around than Pavelec.

Think the Jets might have retain a bit....it wouldn't be too much, enough to allow the signing of Lindholm (which is the purpose of the trade)

Finally a Lindholm-less trade. Teams don't trade young slick franchise D away (don't bother bringing up PK, whole other scenario). Question is, is Trouba more like Pronger/Chara or Malik/fading Myers.???
