I wouldn’t try for Rittich as he’s a pending UFA and likely to leave LA.

Still a W for LA if they can get out of the last 2 years of Quick's contract

I'd do this as an isles fan. I made a similar trade for carter a few weeks ago. i think it could be a fit.

Kings decline both trades. No reason for the Kings to do this, they aren't against the cap, Carter is better than Leo and if there is retaining his contract the Kings are just taking the worse player on for $5M. Quick and Petersens collective cap hit is $6.5M and there is no reason to trade Quick until Seattle passes on him.

I’d agree if there was a big need to move Quick, but cap wise there isn’t, and there isn’t a logjam in goal with just him and Petersen likely to be the guys seeing any regular minutes. Plus you’re giving up two higher picks for two later picks, and eating $2.375M for the length of his deal.

I’d ride it out. There’s probably a market for Quick - I can see a team taking a flyer on him - but unless there’s a decent asset going back to the rebuilding Kings there’s no reason to move him at a loss as it stands
