Description

Think the defense will be a bit of a revolving door as Byram plays 9 of the first 12 - 15 games or so? I don't think he'll head right to WHL and I am pretty sure he's not AHL eligible yet,

Despite lack of PK experience, I think Toews and Nich are good candidates to take on and grow into PK rolls based on their solid defensiveness and use of body respectively. It's not like EJ, Cole and Graves won't always all be out of the lineup

I picked Cole to be the odd D out in these Byram times to keep him fresh and so EJ can evaluate his recovery in a game. Said the injury would be 6-8 weeks at the end of September so a recovery by January seems likely.

What’s the word on Gabriel’s new contract?? Are the Avs gonna extend him?? Even after that off-sides penalty the year b4 last in the play-offs..lol.

It's a great lineup top to bottom, my only concern is. Is Grubauer really an upgrade to Varlamov? I don't think he is enough to win the cup. Just my opinion but I hope I am wrong cause the Avs are my second favorite team lol.

I’m just wondering if the Avs are extending his contract or if he will be a FA?? The last I heard they were working on a deal. I don’t pay attention to Avs news very much.

I jost gets a pretty regular roll as a PKer this season,
