I think that Lafreniere and Svechnikov will have similar value when they're in their primes, but there is still a chance Lafreniere could be a bust or even not a star player, just a good player.

These are tough everyone’s answers could be different depending on favourite teams needs. I’d take laf no question because he could fill a need for oilers perfectly however if I was a wild fan I’d take byfield

Yup doesn’t matter if he has comparable numbers at the KHL as Panarin at the same age who is arguably the best winger in hockey rn..... not saying he’ll ever fill those shoes but the footsteps r very similar
