Leafs don't need Fowler, and it just complicates which Dmen get protected in the draft. If anyone wants Laich and Michalek, which I don't why they would, the Leafs will "give" them away in respect to these long serving NHLers. Having Bozak for a 18 months don't help the Canucks to greater heights...Can you tell me the draft selection of those picks.
The Polak trade does have possibities.

The difference between 1st and 6th OA in basically every draft is much more than that. VAN keeps 1st OA.

Dallas deal is one of the worst I have ever seen. Honka is still looked at as their future on D. Polak is not a good NHL dman.

No, it does not. You have been increasingly delusional palhal! Polak and a 2nd does not get you an elite D prospect. Polak is terrible and you know it. He brings a unique game, sure. But he is still not a top 6 dman.

Haven't you seen how crazy teams are at TDL. Yea I think it's too much for Polak (Should have explained). But considering the other trades....this was the best....By the way, I'm sure Polak will be traded at the TDL, just out of respect for Polak, if the Leafs aren't in a Cup run....pardon me, playoff hunt.
