Nothing against Subban, but he has to prove himself somewhat in the NHL before he has any trade value. His stats look good in the AHL, and maybe he play is good, but it doesn't make for an easy analysis if his game can transition of the NHL.
Subban's a Rexdale guy. I grew up a few miles south of him in Toronto, so I'm pulling for him. By the way, two friends of mine coach minor league hockey in Rexdale....for years. They have coached NHL players. One guy that didn't coach but was in the same league was PK Subban. Buddy said, watching him play, he was the best hockey player he had ever seen in the league. Just knew he was going to the NHL an be really good.
