I think they rather Ekblad, as it’s easier to get a good winger. And it’s not as easy to get a top right handed defence man.

Florida doesn't have the defensive depth to move Ekblad and Winnipeg wouldn't even consider moving Heinola for Fowler and his terrible contract and a 30 year old Grant.
