"If" we were looking at PLD, Necas would definitely have to be on the table. And we would definitely need to add to Necas to have a shot at him. Something like Necas + Bean/Geekie/Drury. Necas and PLD are the same age yet PLD has established himself as a low-end 1C. What would you propose?

Necas has better upside. Easily a nope, Necas is a far better skater, he has far better hands. It is NOT going to involve Necas. A deal for PLD would likely look like Suzuki + Gardiner + 2nd. Necas would need PLD+. OH and Necas has only spent 3 years on North American ice, and PLD is a 2C having placed in North America his entire career. Necas is also younger. This is an EASY nope.
